Shannon and I ventured to the zoo today with the 4 monkeys--well Finny is just an innocent bystander but still along for the ride. I have to link you to Shannon's blog so you can read what happened today--I will tell you it is a bathroom story and it doesn't get much funnier than the observations of 3 year olds. You just have to read it yourself...http://casacostal.blogspot.com/
I have included several pictures which were much funnier in person but I'm sure you can imagine just how things went...
After we got home the boys were drawing on post it pads and Jack drew "a sailboat on the waves" and it is shockingly good--not the work of a 3 year old. Luke drew an unrecognizable picture and told me he drew a wheelchair which just warmed my heart. Our neighbor Kath works for this amazing group--AWB (Actors Without Boundaries) and on Sunday night we took the boys to their annual performance at SJU where kids/young adults performed Aladdin. All of these kids have some sort of physical disability (CP, blind etc..) and it is just amazing to see them get on stage and live out a dream. Luke and Jack are usually very entertained during live shows but for some reason Luke wanted to hang out in the lobby and I was so disappointed but apparently it made an impression on him....worth the trip!
Tomorrow we have our 1st tumbling class and then back to school on Thursday....
