Celebrating a year of Finny!

We spent a long weekend in Ocean City this weekend to celebrate our nephew Finny's 1st birthday. Little Phineas James is such an amazing baby with the calmest, warmest personality you've ever seen. He is a joy to be around! He had a few rocky weeks in the beginning until they determined he has a dairy/soy allergy, but since that's been cleared up Finn has been good to go! Shannon and Joey had a Mickey Mouse themed birthday on the tails of their recent adventure to Disney and the kids just loved it. Everything was all themed out including Mouse ears for all. Jack and Luke were particularly grateful for the egg-free cupcakes that Aunt Shani made and were covered in icing within seconds. Mom-Mom proved to be the reigning "ladder" champ which is a really fun game recently discovered by Ryan on the beach. Uncle Joey called winners all afternoon and is looking for a rematch on the annual D.C. Base Tour! In addition to the party, we visited our usual stops--the beach, the playground, a hockey rink for some tricycle laps and had water ice on the beach with Mom-Mom while I posed a little photo shoot--only the 1000th or so in their lifetime. Another fun weekend at the shore....
