I headed up to the Poconos Saturday afternoon for a night away before Jodi's shower on Sunday. We had a few things to do to get ready for Sunday so I figured I would make a night of it. I arrived just in time to celebrate Nestle's 15th birthday (as Jack likes to say "she's a good old dog") and see the kids. We staged a little photo shoot starring Nestle so they will always have plenty of pictures--15 is really old for a cocker spaniel!
Sunday was Jodi's shower and it was really lovely--2 more months until Baby Cogan makes his/her arrival. Chuck and Jodi are super excited and are trying to finish nesting before Jodi goes back to school next week. We are all anxiously awaiting a new niece or nephew. I will state for the record that I think it's a girl but we shall see....Hang in there Jodi only 8 more weeks to go.
Dan was happy to spend the weekend with the boys and took them to the zoo Sunday morning and a trip to Target. Unfortunately they are both fighting messy colds so everyone was a little cranky by the time I got home Sunday night but I was so happy to see them! Hopefully all 4 of us will be healthy for Disney next week....
