Happy Birthday Mommy!

THREE TIMES TWO
(ghost written by Danny G)
Today was our queen's birthday and boy did we have fun. The boys were still recovering from a weekend cold and gave it to me (Dan) so I stayed home from work. We started with the traditional singing phone calls -- yes, Colleen was first unless you play the time difference and then of course, Kazooti and Jo-Jo Donuts rank #1. When I took the boys shopping a few days ago I asked them what they wanted to get mommy -- they responded music and milkshakes -- so that's what we did as these kids certainly know their mommy bestest. Off to Target, bought one of those singing cards ("who let the dogs out") and played it all through the store while we shopped. Mommy did her pedi yesterday so today she used nap time to just go out and be alone...no offense taken :). This afternoon the Costals and the Krechels came down for dinner so Suz and I could go out to dinner. Funny thing was since I didn't go to work I had to have Barb (aka Bob) bring the cake home from Terminis. Suz and I went to Nais Cuisine and the rest of the troops ate at the Gallaghers. The exception was Steve, Ryan and Joe who went to watch the Mets beat the pulp out of SJU grad Jamie Moyer who was pitchin for the Phils. Good thing the Mets will choke again in September. All in all a wonderful day for Suzanne filled with family and fun and just a few minor meltdowns. WE LOVE OUR SUZIE and as Luke said before he went to bed: "Don't worry mama, 33 is not that old!" Wonder who told him to say that? And our sweet little Jack who said "Happy birthday Mamma" before Suzie left the room for the night.
Tune in tomorrow when the 33 yr old author will jump back on the keyboard to retaliate.
