A Wiggly Weekend--with Uncle David

We had a really great weekend at home this past weekend--where we have not spent much time this summer. On Friday night we went to see the Wiggles and the boys loved it--a Wiggly good time! Stage shows really keep their interest and at least for the first hour they sat still, clapped and screamed for the Wiggles to look at them. I'm thrilled that they like live shows b/c I too enjoy live events and would see the Wiggles again any day. Dan--not so much. Saturday morning we met up with a neighbor and his little girl for a morning Zoo visit where we practically had the whole place to ourselves. Once again the zoo proves to be a hit. We did however reach dual meltdowns by mid-morning and got out of there ASAP.

We were also all really happy to see Uncle David who was in from California doing some business in Baltimore. The boys were more than willing to showcase all their tumbling, jumping, monkey business for Uncle David and were happy to see "Daddy's brover". Both the boys learned to do a somersault and have been doing them non-stop ever since. Their biggest concern seems to be David's transportation issues--just how does he get here from California? "Does he take a train and a plane or a plane then a train?? And where's his car anyway? "

Hopefully Dave will be making a few more work-related trips on the East Coast so we can visit again soon....
