I think it goes without saying that I do not like the snow. I am a summer person. I was born in the summer, got married in the summer, had the boys in the summer and would prefer 90 degrees any day of the week. Well last night the boys started asking if we could make a snowman and build a snow fort if it snows tomorrow----thank God for Daddy! The boys were ready to dive in the snow as soon as they woke up this morning so we were out by 8AM so they could test things out. And when I say we, I mean Dan, Jack and Luke as I stood bundled in the doorway with only the occasional jaunt to the porch to snap a few shots. They lasted for about 20 minutes and both really loved it. Last year Jack loved it and Luke just stood there and cried. Since Daddy decided to work from home today, he gave the boys a little spin on their sleds down the street during which they giggled the entire time. The sleds were a real hit. They also made the obligatory snow angel before calling it a day! We probably ended up with about 5-6 inches and our street and sidewalk are now totally clear. More of a mess than anything. When I was putting Jack down for a nap he said, "Mommy I don't like it when you wear a hat." Me neither Buddy, me neither.
19 more days until Spring....
