My little Ry-Ry, who's not-so-little anymore, was confirmed on Saturday. We headed to the Poconos on Saturday for the festivities and it was such a nice day for him. He was so grown up and proud. After careful consideration he chose Patrick as his Confirmation name and Pop-Pop as his sponsor, also a proud day for Pop-Pop. Who by the way managed to stay awake for 75% of the ceremony. From 2 rows behind, we caught his head bobbing a few times and his posture a little too still--unlike the other Pop-Pop's who surrounded him and had ants in their pants. We'll just tell Ryan that Pop-Pop was saying the rosary for him. Attached are a few pictures.
