Shannon and I took the boys to the mall today to see the Easter Bunny and all went relatively well. The hardest part was convincing Jack to get dressed--which as you'll see in the photo he left his Lightning McQueen pajamas on and just put the polo and pants on top. Luke will at least agree to get dressed but it's a war every time Jack has to take his ratty pajamas off. They both sat next to the bunny and loved petting his fur. I suggested that the bunny might be a girl but they disagreed and said that "he had a penis and could only talk to other people with penises." They have also suggested that, like Santa Claus, the Easter Bunny should leave their Easter baskets on the front porch unless they are sleeping at Mom-mom and Pop-Pop's house that night. After their photos, all 4 of them lined up on the bench to eat their pretzels--even Finny rolls with the big boys now!
I've attached a photo of my 20 week baby belly for those of you we don't get to see everyday. Dan took this about 2 weeks ago. I am actually approaching 22 weeks and feeling lots of kicks and movements from this 12 ounce little boy who we can't wait to meet. I'm not wishing the pregnancy away but I just can't wait to meet him. Jack and Luke also seem to more interested in him. Jack suggested today that the Easter Bunny leave a basket for our new baby with some sweet things in it and they frequently tell Dan that they will help feed him or make him laugh. I know that they will be so sweet to him when he gets here....
Also nothing new to report with Dan--we just have to wait until early May when they name the National Finalists.
