Update on Dan

Dan flew to Atlanta Wednesday night and things kicked off with dinner last night with the entire group—12 finalists and the 12 interview panelists from Atlanta. Today he had 4 interviews from 8:30-1:30 and he walked out feeling GREAT! He said he did the best job he could and has no regrets—which is all anyone can ask for. His experience in Atlanta was amazing and he just sounded like he was glowing when he called me this afternoon. What a great feeling!!! I am so relieved for him but now the nail biting begins as he won’t find out until early May if he is named a National Finalist (which would mean 1 more round of interviews in DC.) So we will keep you posted, but wanted to thank you all for your words of encouragement, emails, prayers, etc...keep 'em coming!
We spent a few days with Mom-Mom and Pop-Pop to break up our week which is always fun for the boys. Before we ever get to the end of their street, they are asking when they can go back. We spent the night in Ocean City and they were so excited to get down there--mainly because they thought we were going to the boardwalk and the beach. It turned out to be 40 degrees with cold rain so the beach will have to wait for a few more months.....
