So after 10 years driving a 99 Honda Civic Value Pack (betcha never even knew such a thing existed), Dan got a new car. 6'4 Dan has been crammed into that Civic like a sardine and manually rolling up his windows for the past 10 years. You remember that crank handle that used to be on doors don't you? He also opened the trunk with a key and unlocked the door with a little silver button. The irony is that Dan loves cars. Not in a Clark Griswold mid-life crisis kind of way, but he definitely pays attention to makes and models and features and seems to know every car on the road. He went through quite a few cars for a period before meeting me and has been itching to buy something for years now. After test driving a few that met our 3rd row requirement, he found he fit best in the Pilot. We are definitely partial to Honda, having owned 3 civics, an Accord, and now the Odyssey and Pilot. Definitely not the bells and whistles of an Acura or some other cars, but perfect for us. We took a family outing to the dealership last night and the boys LOVED it. They were so well behaved particularly since we didn't get out of there until closer to 10 PM. (Which I paid the price for today when they were over tired and no one napped.) All for a good cause as Danny needed some moral support to sign the papers. So yay for Dan! It makes his long 2 mile drive to the train station so enjoyable :)
