Jack and Luke are officially in their 3rd week of school and Jack loves it. Luke is a little more hesitant but loves it once he is there. They both loved school last year but this year Luke claims to not like school...as he likes to say, "well decides, I don't like that place anyway". Their teachers Miss Fran and Miss Mechelle are wonderful--typical Pre School teachers--they think every child is adorable and no trouble at all. I guess after 20+ years, they've seen it all. I hope they've heard it all too b/c Jack and Luke really come up with some things. Overheard in our house this week--"Luke, stop it-you're being inappropriate." Also heard..."Let's go, we need to pack up for Barack Obama's...rock and roll"Quinn is 2 months old and had his well visit this morning. He is a growing boy---95th% for height and 65th% for weight. Dan says he is the power center and Jack and Luke are the point guards. We can only dream. Quinn does need to visit a few specialists at CHOP in the coming weeks--a General Surgeon, Orthopaedic Surgeon and the ENT. He has a hernia which our Dr believes will require surgery--soon--and he also has 6 toes which she thinks might as well be taken care of at the same time. He is also having some unusual breathing sounds which need evaluation by the ENT. So it's off to appointments we go. No fun, but thankfully nothing life threatening but still wish they weren't necessary. Add our little Quinny to your prayer list as I am not thrilled by the idea of him being put under at such a young age. Our 1st surgeon appt is this Monday so we will know more then.
We are so in love with our new little boy. He is a delightful baby. He is so calm and pleasant. Hobbies include eating, sleeping, being held, and tooting! And the best part is Jack and Luke adore him--sometimes a little too much as Quinny rarely has a quiet moment to himself. Quinny's just along for the ride.
