I'm a little behind in blogging--mainly because I am once again having computer troubles. This time it's my corrupt external hard drive. Everything on the hard drive is there--except my pictures. Nice. And Lord knows my audience would really dwindle if this blog were text only. I'm no fool. So if anyone has an in with Santa could you let him know that I would really like a Mac for Christmas. And/or 24/7 free tech support.
Our little Quinn had a beautiful Baptism on Sunday. The priest who married us 9 years ago this month baptized him and did a beautiful job. Quinn slept through 90% of the mass and the entire day for that matter. Jack and Luke keep reminding him that he is Catholic now. I guess the guilt starts earlier and earlier....we were so happy for him. Truly a gift and miracle from God. Our good friends Kath and Steve Cloran are his Godparents and are just wonderful people with a beautiful faith and family. The weather was gorgeous for brunch and the kids were happy to see their cousins. Quinn wore the same Christening gown that Daddy and Jack wore (and Aunt Wendy, Uncle David, Sarah, Kyle and Rachel). It's very simple and really pretty--so pretty that he only got called a girl 3 times that day. One older woman even came up to me and said "isn't it so nice to finally have a daughter?" I wouldn't know. I just don't have the heart to correct people. Poor Quinny :)
He is really doing great and is such a wonderful, easy baby. He is calm as can be, eats and sleeps....in our bed. I just can't get him to sleep on his back in the crib or bassinet and as all of you parents know--you do whatever you have to to get some sleep. I'm hoping to have him in his crib in the next few weeks. He's just so lovable. His food intolerance appears to be dairy as I am now off dairy 100% and the blood in his diaper has completely stopped. So I'll stay off dairy until he is 6 months and then slowly try to introduce it back into my diet. I'm really struggling without the chocolate over here. Although brownies are safe. And all Duncan Hines products according to my sister Shannon. He's worth it though....
