Happy 3rd Birthday Jack and Luke

After much anticipation we celebrated their birthday twice--only appropriate I think. On their actual day (June 25), we had our neighbors and friends over for a backyard BBQ and the boys were thrilled to play with their little friends. The following weekend, we celebrated with family down the shore at the Cape May Zoo. They were so excited to be at the zoo (maybe a little overwhelmed) and had been talking about it for months. It was a stifling 90+ degrees, but I wouldn't want it any other way for their summer birthday! We were all decked out in safari theme and had a scavenger hunt through the zoo. We had egg-less cupcakes and they were so excited to sing to each other and play with their cousins (now numbering 10 and 1/2--Baby Cogan due in October, stay tuned). The playground was a huge hit and by 2:00 they were cooked--nap time! It was a wonderful day...they're already talking about next year.
