Update on Quinn-Part II

I am happy and so relieved to report that Quinn did great this morning. Sorry to not send out a mass email from the hospital but Dan's Blackberry didn't have service--the horror! We continue to be so grateful to everyone at CHOP as so many people were absolutely wonderful to him (and us!) He went back at exactly 7:30AM and we were notified by 9AM that he did fine and was in recovery. He woke up slowly out of a pile of warmed blankets and just cried a little bit (he hadn't eaten since 3:15AM). They did determine that he had hernias on both sides and repaired both at the same time. Follow-up in 3-4 weeks and hopefully we are good to go. Thanks to everyone for your prayers and prayer chains that popped up all over the tri-state area. We are so, so thankful. Attached are some pictures.....from our arrival at 6AM to them taking us back to see him in recovery. He is doing fine now--a little out of sorts but still smiling and pleasant.
