SJU--1st Game for Quinny!

Last night was St. Joe's 1st home game--which they won against Drexel in overtime--and also Quinny's 1st time on campus. Quinn filled out an application, got accepted on the spot and will be starting on September 1, 2026! What really happened is that Quinn slept through 90% of the game--band, buzzers and all, Jack and Luke went to the bathroom 5 times combined, needed drinks--twice--, got their fingers pinched in between the seats and needed band-aids. All in all a success! Decked out in crimson and gray turtlenecks, all 3 boys were fan favorites!

Jack loves sports, loves keeping his eye on the Hawk, counting the # of players on the court and asking lots of questions. Luke covers his ears most of the time and brought his drawing book in case he needed alternative entertainment. He also took most of the pictures that I am posting--he loves the camera and it kept him busy for a little while. The Cloran boys--Jack and Sean were the ball boys so this was also entertaining for them. We love the 1st game. We get to see people we haven't seen all year, reconnect with our "seat friends", and get to see all the new things going on. I am not an avid sports fan--shocking--you thought I was right?--but I love the St. Joe's games. Dan has had season tickets since 1990 and we have been going together for the last 11 of his almost 20 years. We always have fun and every year we know we are guaranteed 15 date nights. Of course some of those games, Dan's dates are a little taller and hairier than me when he needs a replacement date. This year we will try to get Jack to go to as many as he wants and I'll probably stay home with Luke and Quinn. Luke prefers to go to the mall on game days. Atta boy!
