How many more days till summer?

As I've said many times before, I hate the winter. Nothing about it excites me. I wonder about all those people that LOVE the snow. Does the love stop when the flakes stop or are they just as enamored with the cold, slush, salt, white-all-over-your-black-pants-and-jacket, 10 additional minutes to get out of the house each morning? Just curious. Jack told me he loves the winter and the summer. Luke prefers any season that gets him to Ocean City. Me too.

While Quinn was napping, both boys went outside for exactly 20 minutes. 10 additional minutes it took me to get them ready. Luke did come inside and ask me if we could all cuddle. On the couch. With a warm blanket. Can we just freeze time for a bit? And then all 3 proceeded to just lay across me on the couch like a giant pretzel while Quinny giggled. They are funny.

Quinn will be 18 months old next week. He continues to be the happiest baby ever. He constantly giggles and walks around with his hands out to tickle people. His vocabulary consists of Mama, Dada, Elmo (for Elmo and Luke), nana (for nana and banana) daboo (thank you), hot, hat, help, ball, ssss (for sock and shoe), pop pop (never spoken above a whisper) mmmm (for mom mom), naa,no-no-no-no. So as you can see he is not quite conversational yet but we could listen to him talk all day long!! Yes, he looks just like Dan. In some baby pictures I think he actually looks like me as a baby however most people just can't seem to get past the red hair and square head and just see Dan. Any day now he should be morphing into me.....

Jack and Luke are still enjoying Kindergarten and making progress reading and with numbers. They are excited for 1st grade and curious about what a new school will bring. We have already started planning their 6th birthday and we recently came to a consensus about a location and theme! They certainly have different opinions. It's a fun thing to plan during the winter when we are stuck in the house. Stay tuned....
