I can't believe it's November already. I still don't have all the sand vacuumed out of the car yet and now it's time to start planning for Thanksgiving and Christmas. We had a really fun Halloween weekend. On Saturday we got together with our friends the Perkins and the boys had a great time playing with their 2 boys who are absolutely adorable. We got to catch up and spent the afternoon at our park. On Halloween Sunday, it started with a small costume party at our house pre trick or treating, which Luke referred to as our "private party". It was very exclusive! The Clorans, Collins, Aunt Vanessa & Landon, Mom Mom and Pop Pop and Nana and Pop Pop. After we got the kids fed (well tried) we headed out for about 45 minutes of trick or treating. The boys were tired and satisfied with their "heavy bag" of candy after just a few houses. I was trying to encourage them to tough it out for a few more houses b/c we all know who that candy is really for, but just like their Daddy they were happy with a few lollipops. Quinn stayed home with the grandparents while we took the boys out. With a 4:1 ratio we were pretty sure he wouldn't end up in the basement or anything. Next year he can make the rounds. Jack and Luke were friendly ghosts and Quinn was Blue. Dan was the Handy "danny" notebook and I was Mrs. Pepper. We tried to do a whole Blues Clues theme courtesy of Aunt Kelli who sewed these costumes a few years back but Jack and Luke wanted no parts of it so we tried to pull it off with the 3 of us. Maybe next year--a family of 5 theme! Hope your Halloween was enjoyable!!
