1st Day of Kindergarten

Well the big day finally came! We have been talking about Kindergarten for months so when the day finally came and we were getting ready in the morning Jack said "where are we going?" Me: "Kindergarten" Jack: "oh yeah I forgot...the big day is here?"

Off we were to the corner to catch their bus (literally THEIR bus--they are the only 2 on it) and the bus driver had never dropped kids off at their school before so he followed our van. You know you're a control freak when the bus driver follows YOU to the school. Oh well-safety first. We were there to get them off the bus, take pictures on the playground (who me??), and walk them upstairs to their lovely classroom. Mom Mom was with Dan, Quinn and I to see them off which was very low-key and they were happy. They have 18 kids in their class and 2 teachers. Although this is their 3rd year at the school, there are a lot of different field trips, activities, schedule etc.. for the Kindergarten so I think it will be really special for them. Today was their 2nd day on the bus and they LOVE it. When I suggested that maybe I could drive them a few times they wanted no parts of that. Their teachers told us last night at Parents Night that they were so good and loved everything.

Quinn and I had a very quiet morning this morning and I actually got a few little things done around the house. Quinn got all excited when I told him it was time to go pick up "the brothers". He started kicking his legs and squealing "BOB" which he says a lot. And actually as I write this I am thinking that BOB might mean Brother. Hmmmm I'll have to study that one. He loves them so much. Here are a few pictures.
