Washington DC

I'm already behind blogging.....we took the boys to DC Easter weekend for the Cherry Blossom Festival. This is our 3rd or 4th year going down for the Festival and we always have a great time. We usually have our trusty sidekicks--the Costals with us, but this year it just wasn't to be. We spent one night and really had a nice time. Jack and Luke LOVE staying in hotels and based on Quinn's face in his Heavenly Bed, so does he! We saw the trees, took lots of pictures and played wiffle ball more than anything--on the National Mall, in front of the White House etc...The boys really love going to "Barack Obama's" and love the Air and Space Museum. We have quite a routine when we visit. For the 1st time with the boys, we also rode the Metro which was a huge bonus for them. I was a little claustrophobic given how mobbed it was and it was a bit of a challenge with Quinn's stroller but we survived and cut down considerably on our walking which would only have led to lots of whining and complaining after 3 blocks--mine not theirs :) DC is such a great town--always something new to see and do and the mostly free admissions make it nice when we only last 30 minutes in some places.
