Hope everyone is enjoying the great weather on this festive day--so nice to finally have warm sun. I think this week is official flip-flop wearing weather--my favorite time of the year.
Today it was our turn for snack day at school so the boys decided on all green foods, in green cups decorated with shamrock stickers with green apple juice boxes. It was hit! Jack asked me this morning why we wear green and why we are Irish and I told him it's because the people who started our family were born in Ireland and he replied, "well I wasn't born in Ireland I was born in CHOP". So funny--not quite sure why he think he was born in CHOP but at least he put the birth-hospital connection together.
We have been outside both yesterday and today just playing around in the backyard. Jack is in his glory. All he wants to do is hit a pitched ball. Luke is happy to run around and collect sticks and pretend they are something unique. Quinn is just happy to watch them and giggle. Quinny sported his wool sweater for part of the day until he was too hot--it really did get that warm (in the sun).
Yesterday I was cleaning the boys backpacks out and I found a unique Chinese envelope with a dime in it--obviously placed in there during their school lesson about Chinese New Year/Year of the Tiger etc... I asked Jack what it was all about and he replied. " hmmm....I don't know. If only I spoke Chinese New Year". Hilarious.
Wishing you all safe, festive St. Patrick's Day! Still trying to figure out the new computer and not sure where all my pictures are...more to follow and Suds and Spuds!
