Gallagher Thanksgiving

We celebrated Thanksgiving here at our house with Aunt Colleen. We make a fabulous chicken-in-a-bag and lots of side dishes. Delish with very little mess! I highly recommend it. We celebrated the Saturday after with the Gallaghers and Benders here at our house and had a great day. We also used the weekend to get all of the Christmas decorations up, the train around the tree, the Nativity (aka Jesus game) and the boys were thrilled to assist with anything they could. Both of our trees were decorated completely to the 3 foot height region. Last year they loved setting and re-setting up the Nativity and all the pieces and this year, they shove those 3 wise man, angels and animals into the cargo car of their train and send them for a spin! What a difference a year makes. We have also started our advent calendar and wreath and are making a special candle each day which we will light on Christmas Eve.

On Wednesday we went into Comcast for Daddy's Holiday Party. As usual, they put on an amazing party. They had a train set up and real live reindeer outside the building and the boys were just in heaven. Some Sprout characters were there (Sean with Chica the Chicken) and of course Santa and Mrs. Claus. It was a really special night for them. They love to go into Daddy's building. More pictures from the party coming.........
Before I get too behind this month with my blogging, I'll post some pics and try to write again soon. Lots to share....Quinny is getting so big and doing so many new things. He had his 4 month well visit--he is 15 pounds and about 26 inches and is doing great--we could use a few more hours of sleep but he is just adorable!
Oh quick story from today before I forget to write it down---we went to Mass at St. Joe's this morning and if you are familiar with the chapel on campus--it has a balcony over the 2 sides and the boys love sitting up there. Of course the drawbacks are that everyone can see and HEAR everything you do and say. As soon as we sat down Jack leaned over and "whispered" (for all of church to hear) "Is God here yet?" I responded yes God is everywhere and Jack said, "Oh I see him, that guy in purple". He got more than a few laughs.
